Want an applied AI/ML internship in Gurgaon? White Collar Realty offers a hands-on AI/ML internship working with real datasets to build, train and evaluate machine learning models for practical business use-cases such as lead scoring, content and analytics. You will prepare and clean real data, build and evaluate models, support data analysis and reporting, and document your experiments -- solving live problems in Gurugram, not textbook exercises. Most AI/ML courses stop at toy datasets; here you work on LIVE data and real business questions from day one. This is a Work-From-Office internship at our Gurgaon office, open to students and freshers, running 3 to 6 months. It is an unpaid internship with performance-based incentives on eligible roles. Every intern who completes the program receives a Certificate of Completion and a Recommendation Letter, and we offer a free shuttle to the metro. High-performing interns may be considered for PPO opportunities based on their performance and business requirements.

How much Python do I need to know before applying?
You need basic Python -- comfort with pandas and numpy to clean data and build simple models is enough. You do not have to be an expert; if you can write basic scripts and are eager to learn, you can grow quickly into the more advanced work on real datasets.
Do I need to know machine learning theory or heavy mathematics?
A working grasp of core ML ideas helps, but you do not need deep, research-level mathematics. This is an applied internship, so understanding how to prepare data, train a model and read the results matters more than deriving equations from scratch.
What datasets and problems will I actually work on?
You work with real business datasets on use-cases such as lead scoring, content and analytics, rather than clean textbook data. That means you also learn the messy but essential parts -- cleaning data, handling gaps and documenting experiments so results are reproducible.
Is this internship remote or work-from-office?
It is a Work-From-Office internship at our Gurgaon office. Being on-site lets you sit with the people who understand the data and the business questions behind it, which makes your models far more useful.
Can students from non-CS branches apply?
Yes, as long as you have basic Python and a genuine interest in machine learning. Students from statistics, mathematics, data science and allied fields often do very well here, and motivated learners from other branches are welcome too.
What tools and libraries will I use day to day?
You will work primarily in Python with common libraries such as pandas and numpy, along with standard machine learning and analysis tools. You apply them to real datasets and real questions rather than practising on synthetic examples.

When do internships start and how long do they run?
We onboard interns on a rolling basis rather than in fixed batches, so start dates are flexible. The internship runs 3 to 6 months, and you agree the track and start date with the team once you are selected.
Can I do this internship for academic credit?
Yes. If your college requires a credited internship or project, this role qualifies, and we provide a Certificate of Completion plus documentation support on request. Many students use it to satisfy their summer or semester internship requirement.
Do I need my own laptop for the ML work?
Yes, please bring your own laptop. For most tasks a standard laptop that can run Python and Jupyter comfortably is enough, and you do not need a specialised or GPU machine to contribute meaningfully to the projects.
Will I have a mentor to guide my experiments?
Yes. You get guidance on framing problems, choosing approaches and reading your results, so you are not left guessing. Feedback on your experiments and documentation is a regular part of the internship.
How is this different from an online ML course or Kaggle practice?
Courses and competitions give you clean, ready-made datasets, while here you own the full loop -- sourcing messy real data, cleaning it, modelling and reporting to people who will use the answer. That end-to-end, real-stakes experience is what employers value most.
What makes a strong applicant for the AI/ML role?
A strong applicant is analytical and detail-oriented, has done at least one hands-on data or ML project, and can explain their reasoning clearly. Being honest about what you do and do not know, and showing you can learn fast, counts for a lot.
Will I build a portfolio I can show future employers?

There can be. High-performing interns may be considered for PPO opportunities based on their performance and business requirements. Treating the internship as a long interview, and delivering reliable, well-documented work, is the best way to be considered.
