DLF Ltd Targets Rs 2,000-2,500 Revenue
DLF Ltd is aiming for sales of Rs 2,000-2,500 crore every quarter in the current financial year, with launches set in Panchkula, Gurgaon, and Goa said a senior official. The real estate developer has already recorded sales of Rs 3,000 crore from low-rise separate floors. Now, the developer is placing their bets on luxury sales and aiming to record about Rs 2,500 crore from reduced developments in Panchkula and Gurgaon in the state of Haryana.
“Consumers in today's market are yearning for larger homes and are willing to pay a higher price for them. Nobody wants the property that is of lower quality or smaller size, and keeping this fact in mind, we have scheduled launches in a variety of geographic areas,” said Aakash Ohri, chief business officer, DLF Ltd.
In the medium term, the firm intends to release 7.6 million square feet of a new property, out of a total of 35 million square feet of new products, which have a revenue potential of Rs 47,000 crore. These new residential properties in Gurgaon would be released in 2022–2023. It is expected that about half of it will be in the high luxury market. Panchkula's 175-acre The Valley Gardens land will become home to DLF NSE 0.88%'s construction of 424 luxury condos.
“We have a healthy amount of business in the pipeline for both this and the following quarter. The property at Valley Gardens is a cutting-edge development, the likes of which have never been offered in this region before,” said Ohri.
He stated that there is a significant amount of pent-up demand due to the pandemic of Covid-19.
“Buyers in the Delhi-National Capital Region have shown an incredible amount of interest in low-rise independent floors over the course of the past two years (National Capital Region). Add to that the fact that The Valley Gardens is located in the foothills of the Shivalik range, in a verdant valley that provides fresh and pure air, something that is difficult to get in most major metropolitan areas,” said Ohri.
Residential demand continued to demonstrate continuous strength, which contributed to DLF Ltd reporting a net profit of Rs 469.99 crore for the April-June quarter. Additionally, the high demand for luxury houses has been an important trend that is anticipated to continue.The residential company recorded bookings totaling 2,040 crore rupees, which represents an increase of 101% year over year.
